Join us at UConn on August 8 for the annual BLC Forum! After two years of Zoom screens and Wifi connections, come connect with your fellow BLC members in person in Connecticut!
This year’s BLC Forum is dedicated to uplifting and celebrating our community. The morning portion of the Forum will begin with a light breakfast, consortial updates, and a keynote address followed by a picnic lunch and a visit from the famed UConn Dairy Bar Ice Cream Truck! The morning activities will be virtually accessible for members unable to attend in person.
This year’s keynote workshop will be led virtually by Charles Vogl, author of international bestseller The Art of Community: Seven Principles for Belonging. Charles advises leadership and operations within firms including Google, LinkedIn, Airbnb, Twitch.tv, Meetup.com, and organizations worldwide. He is a founding member of the Google Vitality Lab and a trusted thought leader for the Google School for Leaders. His work centers on creating a culture of belonging, building deep community and relationships that foster innovation and integrity, and inspiring authentic connection.
The afternoon portion of the Forum will center around the BLC Community Fair with tables set up for BLC Communities to meet, learn, and connect with one another. Following the Community Fair, guided tours of UConn’s Library, Archives & Special Collections, and Campus will be available. Self-directed activities are also offered. This year’s Forum will also include swag bags (with a copy of Charles Vogl's book included), a visit from Jonathon XIV the UConn Husky, and more!
