Open Educational Resources
The Open Educational Resources COI focuses on supporting and expanding the use of open educational resources across the BLC member libraries with the goal of increasing access to teaching and learning resources and reducing the expenditure burden on students. The COI is open to all interested BLC staff and meets either in person or virtually on a regular basis.
The COI acts as a conduit between BLC member libraries and the Open Education Network, of which the BLC is a consortial member. The COI provides a forum for sharing ideas and strategies on increasing open educational resources across campus and work with BLC staff to develop further professional development opportunities for BLC libraries around issues relating to OER.
Membership
The Open Educational Resources COI is open to staff at any of the BLC member libraries.
