Running Successful Meetings

This workshop explores the three essential components of running an effective and productive meeting. Participants will learn how to design dynamic agendas that keep discussions focused and engaging. The session also builds practical skills for managing conflict and fostering inclusive participation. By the end, attendees will feel more confident leading meetings that are organized, collaborative, and results-driven.

At the end of this workshop participants will be able to: 

  • Understand the importance of the three main parts of running a successful meeting
  • Demonstrate their ability to create a dynamic agenda
  • Demonstrate their ability to resolve conflict and encourage participation during meetings

Amanda Primiano is the Executive Director at the Monroe Free Library with over 15 years of experience, beginning her career in academic libraries before transitioning to public librarianship. She is passionate about community engagement, lifelong learning, and building meaningful connections through library services. Her work focuses on collaboration, innovative programming, and creating welcoming spaces for all.
