Expanding Knowledge Webinar: Takeaways from the BLC Leads Program

Sarah Hutton, Head of Student Success & Engagement at the W.E.B. DuBois Library (University of Massachusetts, Amherst) and a member of the 2018 BLC Leads cohort, will provide an overview of her experiences in the program and their continued impact on her career and institution. Her presentation will also address the program's cohort model and its benefits.

About Sarah:

Reporting to the Associate Dean of Research & Learning, Sarah leads a department of 11 FTE and 40+ student employees, advocating for, promoting, and providing innovative technologies, spaces and education that will most effectively allow undergraduates at UMass Amherst and the Five Colleges to become more creative, technologically adept, and critically engaged in research and scholarship. Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in counselling (dual minors in psychology and art), a master’s degree in library and information studies (including information literacy instruction certificate), and is currently a Ph.D. student in the Educational Policy and Leadership program in the College of Education.
