Plum Analytics Altmetrics Sessions
Tuesday, April 7, 2015 - 10:00am to Wednesday, April 8, 2015 - 12:30pm
The Boston Library Consortium and Plum Analytics are pleased to invite you to learn more about modern metrics, aka altmetrics, and how you can leverage their power within your library and institution. At this session, Andrea Michalek, co-founder and President of Plum Analytics, will discuss the background and history of altmetrics, describe PlumX, a metrics product, and share stories of how those that perform, fund and publish research are using the service. These use cases will include:
- Adding metrics to your Institutional Repository to add value for your authors
- Using metrics in the new NIH Biosketch portion of grant application
