Special Collections COI Meeting
Monday, May 11, 2015 - 10:00am to 12:00pm
Meeting
This meeting will be held at the State Library of MA.
The State Library's Special Collections Department is in Room 55 of the State House. (Please note: the Main Library is Room 341; Special Collections is in a different physical location within the State House.)
The easiest way to get there is to come in the main entrance of the State House-- called the Hooker Entrance because of the large equestrian statue out front of General Hooker-- which is right across Beacon Street from where Park Street comes up from the Park Street T stop. It is about a 3-minute walk up Park Street from the T stop.
Come in the Hooker entrance and go through security (metal detector, bags and parcels through a scanner), then head left across the first floor to the West Wing of the building. At the end of the West Wing hallway, walk down one flight of stairs, or, take the elevator one level down to the Basement. You will see the door to Special Collections (Room 55) there.
The department phone number is 617-727-2595.
