Tufts Welcomes New Science Collections Librarian

Tufts University is pleased to announce that Megan Bresnahan has accepted the position of Science Collections Librarian. She will also serve as Scholarly Communications Coordinator for Tisch Library.

Megan completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Arizona and her Master of Science in Information at the University of Michigan. Additionally, she has a certificate in Biomedical Informatics from the Marine Biological Laboratory and National Library of Medicine. She is familiar with the Boston area from working at BU’s Medical Library as web coordinator and education and information services library. In her present role as head of Gemmill Library at the Univesrity of Colorado, Boulder, Megan is the subject specialist for engineering, physics, mathematics, and computer science. Furthermore, Megan has made numerable contributions to the profession through her national, state and local papers, presentations and grant projects.
