Announcing the BLC's Expanding Knowledge Webinar Series

The BLC is pleased to announce a new professional development webinar series, the Expanding Knowledge Webinars. These webinars offer an introduction to a variety of topics of interest to today’s academic and research libraries. The Expanding Knowledge Webinars provide an overview of the basics for staff at all levels on a topic they may not be familiar with from their daily work. Expanding Knowledge is designed to give a broad view of the topic to the non-practitioner and provide insight into a particular area of librarianship that allows library staff to understand its relevance to and application for their own work.

The series launched at the end of September, 2017, with a new webinar appearing each month throughout the academic year. The webinars will be no more than 60 minutes with ample time for Q&A. Each webinar will be recorded and made available in the "Member Events" section of the BLC Website.
