Charlie Barlow was appointed Executive Director of the Boston Library Consortium on July 1, 2020. He joined the BLC from the Associated Colleges of the Midwest, where he served as Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Programs. An alumnus of the University of Chicago and Trinity College Cambridge, Charlie previously held academic and administrative appointments at the University of Chicago and Roosevelt University. He began his career in financial services with Friends Provident International and Royal London 360.
Charlie currently serves on the boards of directors for the Association for Institutional Research in the Upper Midwest, Friends of the Parks, Housing Choice Partners of Illinois and the National Public Housing Museum.
