Community Charge

It is important for marginalized groups to have exclusive spaces where they can come together for purposes of healing, sharing, and organization. The Boston Library Consortium's Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Community of Interest (EDI COI) has established caucuses for underrepresented library workers or LIS students (at any level) in the Northeastern region of the United States.

Those who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) may register for a caucus using the links below.

Membership

This is a space exclusively for BIPOC library workers and library and information science students (at any level) in the Northeastern region of the United States.

Meetings

This BIPOC Caucus is meeting at the following dates and times: 

  • Wednesday, October 9th at 3:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, November 14th at 1:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, December 11th at 3:00 p.m.
