Shared Systems & Services
BLC has managed successful shared services for decades, including group purchasing agreements for licensing and acquisitions, large-scale equipment orders, and various library technology and services.
As a laboratory for potential collaborations, BLC enables access to higher-quality services at similar or lower costs that may otherwise be out of reach or infeasible for a single institution alone.

BLC Network Zone
BLC’s Network Zone leverages the Ex Libris Alma Network Zone to support a wide range of collaborative activities among the participating libraries. The initial cohort of four libraries went live in summer 2024, and the second cohort will go live in winter 2025.
