Tammy Rimpsey is a seasoned library paraprofessional with over 35 years of experience in public and academic libraries, as well as library staffing. She currently serves as the Circulation Systems Supervisor at George Washington University's Jacob Burns Law Library, where she strives to enhance the patron experience in the access services department. Tammy is also passionate about library marketing; she is particularly expert in leveraging social media for outreach. Her innovative approach to marketing has been recognized with awards from the Virginia Library Association and other professional organizations. In addition to her library career, Tammy founded Party Diva Events, an event planning business known for its creative and meticulously organized events. She has successfully planned and executed numerous high-profile events, earning her recognition in the event planning industry. Tammy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Virginia State University and a Master of Business Administration in Hospitality from Lynn University.
