Lunch & Learn is a virtual program series created to provide a space for vendors to discuss products and services with BLC members. BLC does not endorse or recommend any products or services highlighted in this series.
This session will introduce OpenAthens and explore the value of a managed authentication service designed to simplify access for users while reducing the complexity libraries face in managing authentication. With Andrew Nagy, Director of SaaS Innovation at EBSCO Information Services, we'll look at how OpenAthens can support a more seamless user experience, strengthen security, and provide libraries with a flexible, sustainable approach to connecting their communities with digital content. Heather Klish, Senior Systems Librarian at Tufts University, will then share the university’s OpenAthens implementation journey, offering a real-world perspective on bringing the service to an academic institution.
