Join two ND coaches with library leadership experience for a candid exploration of leading while neurodivergent. We’ll examine how self and late diagnosis can affect identity, confidence, and communication; unpack the hidden cost of masking and its impact on leadership presence; explore the stigma and risk of disclosure; and consider how traditional leadership norms often exclude ND ways of being.
Together, we’ll identify practical, adaptive strategies for reshaping leadership approaches to support neuroinclusion, clearer boundaries, and more sustainable success. These include strategies for neurodivergent leaders AND for neurotypical colleagues who want to build a neuroinclusive culture in your organization. You’ll leave with a starter toolkit to support leadership that reduces personal harm while increasing effectiveness and belonging. Leadership that works for ND people creates healthier systems for everyone.
Learning Objectives:
- Explain some of the challenges neurodivergent leaders navigate.
- Examine the hidden costs of navigating these challenges.
- Apply practical strategies to build more neuroinclusive work cultures.
