Linking technologies are used to connect patrons with online content that is indexed in disparate places in the online library ecosystem, such as Discovery Layer, Google Scholar, A&I databases, and Aggregators offered by various vendors such as EBSCO and ProQuest. This series, led by BLC members, is meant to share user perspectives on these technologies through case studies and implementation experiences, empowering fellow BLC members to make informed purchase decisions in the future.
In this session, learn how ThirdIron’s LibKey helps users get to library content more directly, what holdings LibKey covers, and an overview of the steps required to implement it. Hear about Wesleyan University’s experiences with using LibKey over the past 5 ½ years, including why Wesleyan subscribes to both LibKey and Lean Library.
