This presentation will outline specific teaching and programming strategies to better support neurodivergent users, including those with ADHD, dyslexia, and autism. We'll explore practical techniques like providing outlines and timelines, offering content in various formats, using technology resources, and gathering feedback from patrons. Participants will also be asked to share their own strategies and experiences, with opportunities to learn from each other.
Through this webinar, participants will:
- Recognize that neurodivergent patrons, and all patrons, have different learning needs.
- Understand how to employ inclusive teaching and programming strategies to support neurodivergent users.
- Share their own experiences, and exchange resources & best practices for supporting neurodivergent users.
