Interlibrary loan workflows rely upon small yet vital details. Labels and bookstraps ensure materials move efficiently between institutions. Each library handles label creation, printing, and management differently. This community-led Share and Tell session spotlights practical solutions and creative approaches to label design and production from our BLC libraries, and offers a space to connect and ask questions.

Join the group to discover how colleagues manage label materials, including paper, removable stocks, adhesives, and barcodes. We will examine printing processes and template management in systems such as ILLiad and Alma. Participants are asked to bring their questions, and will be encouraged to share challenges as well as offer helpful tips to others. Learn about managing barcode wraparound and designing hold shelf slips. These details keep lending and borrowing workflows running smoothly.

Roundtables are community-driven conversations focused on a specific topic, typically held between two or more BLC communities. If you’re interested in hosting a future roundtable across BLC’s membership, please reach out to Cate Harriman at charriman@blc.org.

Please note this roundtable will be recorded.
