Dr. Suzanne Morrison-Williams, BSc, MPA, EdD

Dr Suzanne MorissonDr Suzanne Morrison-Williams is an executive academic operations professional with over 25 years working in the area of higher education. Her core competencies include learning and development (L&D) optimization, organizational leadership, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), customer and product support, and strategic planning and execution. Dr Morrison-Williams has served as a Vice President of a multi-campus educational organization, a Chief Administrative officer and Vice Provost of a private Nursing college as well as the Campus Director and Operations officer of other educational organizations.

Some of her key achievements include developing and implementing an onboarding process and learning assessment for faculty and staff, directing a team of 70+ across multiple departments and campuses, transforming the regulatory process for national accreditation, and instituting a highly interactive outbound marketing program that increased enrollments and profitability.

Currently, Dr Morrison-Williams serves as the Chief Academic Officer at Library Information and Resources Network (LIRN), a non-profit consortium of over 350+ educational institutions that provides equity and access to online library and information resources.

Dr Morrison-Williams started her career as a student worker at Florida International University where she earned both her Bachelors degree in Public Relations and a Masters in Public Administration. She developed a love for the education and academic sector and would later return to work in the field of both Public and Private Education. She has held every role from Registrar to faculty, then Academic Director, then Assistant and Associate Dean before moving on to her role of Vice President of Academic Affairs over a private college system. Her love for education and leading successful organizations led her to complete her doctorate in Organizational Leadership in 2015 from Argosy University.

Dr Morrison-Williams is a founding member of Sisters Breaking Glass Together, which is a non-profit women’s empowerment organization. She is also a Certified Life Coach and serves as a Women’s Leadership Empowerment coach through her organization, Dr Sue Speaks, LLC. In 2021, she authored a women’s empowerment book - Bossladyship: Color me a Bosslady.
