Join two BU Librarians for an engaging roundtable discussion on the evolving role of AI in research and instruction services. Discover the strategies BU Librarians use to stay current with emerging AI tools and trends and hear real examples of how AI is being applied in library work.

The session will provide participants with space to share their own experiences and ideas for incorporating AI into research consultations, instruction sessions, and LibGuides. Together, we’ll explore how AI is shaping the ways librarians support patrons and reflect on how these technologies may be influencing expectations and perceptions of librarian expertise.

Whether you’re already using AI in your work or simply curious about its potential, this discussion offers practical insights and a chance to connect with colleagues on the opportunities and challenges AI presents in the library environment.

Roundtables are community-driven conversations focused on a specific topic. If you’re interested in hosting a future roundtable across BLC’s membership, please reach out to Cate Harriman at charriman@blc.org.

Please note this roundtable will be recorded.
