Community Charge
Responsibilities
- Review existing and newly released discovery-related functionality of the Network Zone, and make recommendations on which functionalities to prioritize the implementation of, and a timeline for doing so.
- Collaborate with other Network Zone Communities of Practice and Working Groups to implement functionality and configurations related to discovery.
- Develop best practices and provide guidance to participating institutions on optimizing discovery and display of Network Zone materials.
- Align or move Primo settings into the NZ when doing so will improve the user experience (e.g. having identical resource type definitions).

Membership
The Network Zone Discovery Community of Practice includes up to two representatives from Network Zone member institutions.
Membership is reviewed and renewed each June, beginning June 2026.
Meetings
The Discovery Community of Practice will meet monthly, with additional meetings as-needed.
