Working Group
Working Group Charge
In alignment with the Network Zone project's guiding principles and values, the Network Zone Documentation Working Group is committed to prioritizing shared workflows and consensus in all aspects of its work.
Responsibilities
- Create a prioritized list of goals for the documentation platform, and engage with other Network Zone communities of practice and working groups to gather input.
- Review potential documentation platforms and select one platform to implement.
- Develop standards for consistency in structure, content, formatting and presentation of documentation
Develop and implement a process for migrating existing documentation to the new platform. - Train Network Zone communities of practice and working groups on adding new documentation to the platform, and work with them to compile lists of known documentation (already-created or not-yet-created) that need to be added to the new platform
- Create a plan for ongoing oversight and review of material in the documentation platform, to ensure consistency and currency.

Membership
The Network Zone Documentation working group will include as many staff as are interested in participating from Network Zone member institutions.
Membership is reviewed and renewed each June, beginning June 2026.
Meetings
The Documentation Working Group will meet bi-weekly, with additional meetings as-needed.
