Originally established as the ILL Committee, the Resource Sharing Community of Interest plays a major role in ensuring that the BLC member libraries achieve their goal of providing quality, cost-effective and timely sharing of print, electronic and digital resources across the consortium.
The COI was instrumental in developing a set of resource sharing best practices benchmarks that provide guidelines to all of the BLC member libraries on standards, workflows and service levels expected for the sharing of resources within the BLC.

Membership
The Resource Sharing COI is open to any BLC member library staff involved in inter-library loan or other aspects of resource sharing.
Meetings
The COI meets three times a year in the fall, spring and summer. Meetings are posted on the BLC website and minutes are available through the members’ Shared Google Drive.
