Unique Collections Team

During the implementation, the Unique Collections Team will coordinate discussion and decision-making concerning aspects of the Shared Library System related to unique, special, and archival collections.

The Unique Collections Team will meet and communicate on an as-needed basis to resolve Shared Library System Implementation-related decision-points, collaborate with other implementation teams to ensure that the needs of unique collections are incorporated into decision-making, and to provide guidance for Middlebury College and University of Vermont libraries as they implement Alma and Primo.

The Unique Collections Team will identify liaisons from within the team to the Access Services, Cataloging, and Discovery teams. These liaisons or their designates will stay abreast of the other teams’ discussion and agendas, optionally join their meetings to participate in discussions, and serve as a conduit for Unique Collections’ concerns to these teams, and for the teams’ discussions to the Unique Collections Team.
