Boot Camp is a fun and affordable 2 ½ day immersion into science topics offering opportunities for librarians and library students interested in science, health sciences, and technology to learn, meet, and network in a fun, laid-back atmosphere.
New England Science Boot Camp for Librarians 2025
This year’s Science Boot Camp will be held June 25-27, 2025 at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. The New England Science Boot Camp for Librarians is a fun and affordable 2 ½ day immersion into science topics offering opportunities for librarians and library students interested in science, health sciences, and technology to learn, meet and network in a fun, laid-back atmosphere.
The topics for this year's SBC science session are:
Artificial Intelligence
Astronomy
Health Science
Each science session will include one scientist presenting an overview of the field, and a second scientist discussing research applications within the field. This year's Capstone will feature AI in science librarianship.

Who Should Attend
Students, faculty, librarians, library workers, and anyone interested in learning more about science, health sciences, and technology. Registration for the 2025 New England Science Boot Camp for Librarians will open on April 23, 2025 through Sched. Registration tiers are:

- Commuter: $275
- Single Day: $150
- Full Registration + Early Arrival: $380
